About KitchenGearAudit
Independent kitchen appliance reviews you can trust. We test every product in our own kitchen so you don't have to guess.
Our Story
Why we started and what drives us every day.
KitchenGearAudit started in 2022 with a simple frustration: finding honest, detailed reviews of kitchen appliances was nearly impossible. Most "review" sites just rehashed manufacturer specs or pushed products based on affiliate commissions rather than actual quality.
We decided to do things differently. Our small team of kitchen enthusiasts and professional reviewers tests every product we recommend — not for a day or two, but for weeks at a time, in real cooking scenarios. We make smoothies, air fry chicken wings, brew hundreds of cups of coffee, and put every appliance through its paces.
Today, KitchenGearAudit has become a trusted resource for thousands of home cooks looking to upgrade their kitchens. We've tested over 200 appliances and published comprehensive buying guides across six major categories.
Our Mission
Three principles that guide every review we publish.
Rigorous Testing
Every product undergoes at least 2 weeks of hands-on testing in real kitchen conditions before we publish a word.
Editorial Independence
Brands don't pay for reviews or better scores. Our recommendations are based solely on merit and real-world performance.
Real Expertise
Our reviewers have culinary backgrounds and years of experience testing kitchen equipment across all price ranges.
